Nathan Escobedo Water Polo Sept 2018 AofM

Boys’ Water Polo:  Nathan Escobedo  12th Grader Current GPA: 4.68 Junior Varsity

“Nathan Escobedo is the quintessential scholar athlete.  In the classroom he excels, in fact you have to go back to his 6th grade year to find a grade other than an A (ironically that last B was in PE).  Nathan is a scholar athlete and in top 1% of his class while captaining our boys’ water polo team for the past 2 years.  Nathan is the type of captain coaches dream about, he is positive and leads by example.  He taken on the role of mentor to our entire team and has worked hard to push the young team to focus and learn the game.  Nathan’s leadership has been truly remarkable to watch over the summer and start of the season and I know he will continue to inspire his team in the weeks to come.”  Coach Morris
