Gaston Becerra Baseball March 2019 AofM

Baseball:    Gaston Becerra 12th Grader Current GPA:  2.80 Varsity

“It is a great honor for me to nominate Gaston as our AofM.  Gaston has been a 4 year varsity member, and it has been a pleasure watching him grow into a fine baseball player and a wonderful young man.  Gaston has been our team captain this year and has lead by his example of hard work and determination.  Gaston is currently hitting .333 and leads our team in RBIs and 2Bs.  His presence on defense is also another valued asset for our team.  Once again, it is an honor for me to nominate Gaston Becerra as Athlete of the Month.”   Luke MacLennan

Jennifer Flores – Stunt 2019 March AofM

Stunt:   Jennifer Flores  12th Grader Current GPA: 3.40  Varsity

Jennifer is being nominated because she has really stepped up for her team.  She pushes herself past her limits and takes on any new challenges given to her.  She does not allow any excuse to stop her from achieving her goal.  Jennifer has shown her commitment and love to her sport and lastly, she has proven that if you work hard enough, you can reach your goals.”  Coach Prawl

Mia Saucedo – Softball 2019 March AofM

Softball:   Mia Saucedo  10th Grader Current GPA:  3.83 Varsity

“Mia is a perfect candidate for this recognition.  A long time ago, someone said that “good things come in small packages”, Mia is the total package as you can see by her GPA.  She is a perfect teammate who encourages her teammates to do the best they can do when they are called upon.  For her only being a sophomore, she is truly a leader for our team because of her commitment to her studies and the sport.  As a freshman she was an all league player.  I am looking forward to having her in my program for the next two years.”  Coach Medina

Tiffany Loredo – GTrack 2019 March AofM

Girls’ Track & Field:     Tiffany Loredo 12th Grader Current GPA: 2.92  Varsity

Tiff is my right arm and has been a reliable runner and scholar. Despite being a sprinter, she proved to all of us that she can do anything she sets her mind to during Cross Country season and is now a top sprinter again. She is an exemplary Grizzly by constantly demonstrating responsibility and dedication in running. Great job Tiff!”  Coach Valdez

Luis Nieto – BVolleyball 2019 March AofM

Boys’ Volleyball:    Luis Nieto  12th Grader Current GPA:  3.00 Varsity

“Captain of the volleyball team, Luis Nieto leads his team with action.  He comes ready to practice.  I can tell he loves this sport very much by the way he practices.  I can really count on him on anything, he’s such a great kid.  The entire Nieto Family are great, I am not surprised that I can count on him as well.  His older brother, Eli was a great talent as well.  I believe that Luis is just as good and will only continue to get better.”   Coach Sok
