Senior Athletic Awards

Class of 2019

A big congratulations to our senior athletes selected to receive awards representing the Class of 2019!  Senior athletes are nominated by the Godinez coaching staff and then voted upon for the 2019 Athlete of the Year and Sportsman/Sportswoman of the Year.  These student-athletes were selected by our coaching staff as the deserving individuals to receive these awards from Godinez Athletics and to commemorate these awards their names will also be added to our permanent record board in our gymnasium.

Some of the major reasons they are standouts and have been chosen for these awards are that they have all provided our athletic teams and our student-body with leadership and excellent sportsmanship, many have been members of our Gold Pride Council, all have been team captains, athletes of the  month and all are scholar athletes that have maintained a 3.0 gpa or higher while participating in sports.

They are all great people and I would like to sincerely thank them and their parents for their involvement in our athlete programs over the past 4 years and for helping establish a tradition of character and excellence at Godinez as they will be missed but not forgotten!  Here is some info on each of them and their personal accomplishments plus their future goals after graduation.  WE WISH THEM THE BEST ON THEIR COLLEGE/LIFE JOURNEY!
